There is an easy way to get more Twitter followers

There is an easy way to get more Twitter followers; you put your Twitter user name on a business card. I found a website that has custom business card backgrounds, which are professional and beautiful. The custom backgrounds cover various types of businesses. I found one business card that would be ideal for a writer. I am referring to the Journalist Business Card, which has a picture of a typewriter.

Some of the other business cards on this site were those for an attorney, teacher, medical professional, and a mommy card, to mention only a few. I found these custom business backgrounds cards along with Christmas cards, wedding invitations, and banners and signs at 123Print.

One of the Christmas cards included a Santa and the Gang card that showed Santa with his eight reindeer. Other Christmas cards included a World of Peace, a Snowman Photo card, and a reindeer photo card. 123print's photostream website includes picture of their products as they are displayed across the Internet.

Go to 123print's photostream website and click on the sets, archives and profile. The profile gives 123print's mission statement, while the archive contains a complete archive of 123print stream items according to when they were taken and posted.

Epulaeryu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich

    Fond memories of childhood
    A slice of white bread
On which grape jelly is spread
    And another slice
    With peanut butter
    Together
    WOW!

Epulaeryu is described in Epulaeryu: Poetry form dedicated to food.

Epulaeryu: A poetry form dedicated to the subject of food

Epulaeryu is a poetry form dedicated to the subject of food. Joseph S. Spence Sr. (aka Samuel Black) created this form. The word "epulaeryu" is a combination of the Latin word "epula" meaning "feast or large meal" and "ryu", which comes from an Asian art form, meaning "style or form".

Epulaeryu is a seven line poem composes of 32 syllables. The 1st line has 7 syllables, the 2nd line 5 syllables, the 3rd line 7, the 4th line 5, the 5th line 5, the 6th line 3, and the 7th line 1 syllable, with an explanation point ending the last line. In this form, while rhyme is encouraged, it is optional.

For more on this form see Definition of Epulaeryu Poetry - Part One (The Name) by Samuel Black. This article contains a delicious poem about Curried Chicken.

    The birds are still singing

All month birds have been singing. Every time I go outside, there are birds singing. One of the birds is a nightingale and the others are sparrows or mourning doves. The weather has been variable and cool. The temperature is not in the triple digits, sometimes wind blows or clouds hide the sun, and one day it rained. Through all of this cool and weird weather the birds continue to sing. I cannot be unhappy or depressed when I hear a nightingale sing.

    A nightingale sings
    Proclaiming his happiness:
    Who can be depressed?

  • Do you need a home loan modification?

Do you need to modify your present home loan? If so, you should hire an experienced firm to modify your home loan. There are several reasons to hire an experienced firm to assist in modifying your home loan. One of the main reasons concerns violations and errors that lenders can make when writing mortgage documents. However, if you are like me you have no idea what those errors or violations are, so you do not know what to look for when you review the mortgage document.

In researching mortgage modification, I came across an interesting and educational blog. This blog list the common violations made in loan documents, which is something every homeowner needs to know when it becomes necessary to modifying an existing home loan. This blog explains the benefits of hiring a mortgage modification attorney to help modify a home loan.

The American Residential Law Group blog states why a homeowner should hire an experienced mortgage modification attorney when modifying a home loan. According to the blog, this group has expertise in forensic loan audits.

On this blog, under the link "home loan modification" you can contact an organization, which will assist in determining if a loan modification is right for you. In addition to that link, you can access an "American Residential Law Group" website.

The blog about hiring an experienced mortgage modification firm gives informaton written in clear and understandable language. It gives the benefits and reasons for hiring a loan modification attorney and it includes links to two different resources for determining if a loan modification is necessary.

    Remembering my High school days

A few months ago, I joined Facebook and found a few of the people that graduated from Shawnee Oklahoma high school in 1966. Yesterday I joined the alumni and posted a short bio of myself. I have to get back and write a longer piece. However, last night my hyperacidity acted up and I was unable to set at the computer.

I know it was something I ate that caused the problem, probably the orange. I don't remember having hyperacidity in high school. I could eat anything without worrying about the way it affected me. I am also beginning to remember my high school days fondly, there was a time when I didn't think about high school or avoided thinking about that part of my life.

Now that I am 63 and dealing with some physical and health problems, I remember the days when I didn't have to think about these things. In high school, I could walk home, which was several miles from Shawnee High School, without any problems. Now I'm happy to be able to walk one block without encounter physical issues. I think that is why I remember my high school days so fondly and I would like to be able to walk several miles without knee pain again.

    Reviewing the past week

It is Saturday, May 22, 2010, the end of good and a bad week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I spent approximately eight hours each day in a paid training class. On Tuesday, I came home and found my mother has lost her hearing aid. It fell out of her ear when she lay down on the couch. Thursday, we took the hearing aid back and the docotor ordered her a larger hearing aid, which we will pick up next week.

On Friday, I went to the pharmacy to pick up one of Mom's medications. When I came home, I found one of the cats had died. I took his body to the animal shelter to let them cremate Spot. Next week I am taking the other cats to the vet for their shots and senior wellness exams.

I am starting a series of form poems about all the animals, mostly cats and dogs; I have encountered in my 63 years of life. I think poems are the best way to remember pets, at least for me.

    3. The Grossblank and Iambic Hexameter

The Oleanders are beautiful this year

The white and the red oleanders are especially beautiful this year. Yesterday morning I noticed the white oleanders seemed to glisten in the morning light. This morning, the red oleanders were bright scarlet in the light of dawn. I have not noticed pink oleanders this year, but not all the oleander bushes in my yard are blooming.

    Oleander blooms
    Scarlet and white weeds blossom
    My backyard fence line

Oleanders prove that weeds are just a beautiful are non-weeds. Of course, I may be one of the few people in the world that thinks oleanders are weeds. However, just because I think they are weeds does not mean they are not beautiful.

Wind and Clouds in Las Vegas

    Evening clouds gather
Wind whispers through stone pine trees
    Las Vegas shivers

I felt the wind chill factor today, this means I am going to put a sweater in my car. When I left the house, it did not seem cold, but when I arrived at the doctor's office it was cold.

    Buttermilk French toast

    Buttermilk French toast
And a hot cup of coffee
    Beautiful morning

I bought a loaf of buttermilk bread yesterday, so this morning I fixed buttermilk French toast. After the French toast was cooked, I spread butter and honey on the toast. I am going to do a little more experimenting with the different types of bread.

    I am Considering Exterior Shutters

Some of the houses in my neighborhood have exterior shutters. Whenever I pass those houses, I slow down so that I can get a better look at them. The houses exterior shutters look beautiful. The shutters give them a traditional appearance. I love the look that external shutter give a house, so I am consider shutters for my own home.

The majority of houses in my neighborhood are one-story houses and about two or three of them have exterior shutter. Until I saw those houses, I did consider putting shutter on my house because it is a single story house. However, since seeing the single story houses with exterior shutters, I have decided that shutters would look just as good on my house as they do my neighbors houses.

I am looking to put vinyl shutters on my house, because I think they would be easy to care for and last for a long time. I want an exterior shutter that is sturdy and beautiful at the same time. I want a shutter that will stand up under the extremes of weather in this area of the country.

I want almond colored exterior shutters because they match the color of my house. I want vinyl shutters because they resist fading, are easy to maintain and easy to keep clean.

    Tuesday Morning in Las Vegas

    Decorative boulders
    Reflect Tuesday morning's light
    Las Vegas wakes up

The decorative boulders are in a neighbor's yard. Everyday those boulders reflect the light of dawn. The boulders rest in the corner of the yard close to the sidewalk. Around the white boulders are several smaller stones that look as if they are nursing from the boulders.
