    An Interesting day for Writing

I have to admit the only writing I accomplished today was blog entries. My morning consisted of one interruption after another. This afternoon, I had to take one of the cats to the Vet. The cat, Beauty, came into the living room meowing. She would not stop meowing even when I stroked her, so I knew something was wrong. I called the Vet and made an appointment for 2:00 PM and we took her into the office. The Vet checked her out and took care of the problem.

Beauty had a claw growing into her pads, so the Vet removed it. In addition, she had an ear infection. She is at home now, but I have to put ear drops in her ears every twenty-four hours. I am also going to have to keep an eye on her feet.

Mom was upset when we went to the Vet because she thought that Beauty would not be coming back home.  Mom is happy and sitting on the couch with Beauty, they are both dozing. There are some days when the only thing a writer accomplish is interruptions

The Nurse’s guide to good living

Scrubs The Nurse's Guide to Good Living is a wonderful and interesting website. Summer is here and everyone is looking for health, beauty, fashion and inspiration tips. This website is a good place to find this information and more. The first items that catch your eye on this site are mind, health, beauty, style, work, love, money, and news & entertainment.

It is summer and every body wants to look younger. The article on this site that caught my attention concerned waking up looking younger. This article is under the title beauty and it gave five tips on ways to wake up in the morning looking younger. The tip that caught my eye was the third tip the article contained. It suggested a person go to sleep on his or her back. The reason for this is that sleeping on your side or your stomach can cause wrinkles.

Other tips included in the article concerned removing make-up before you go to bed. Always use moisture because as you grow older your skin becomes dry and this causes wrinkles. In addition, it said to pluck stray hairs at night because the redness goes away by morning. Another tip was to brush your lips, pat them dry and use a lip treatment.

Things I have to do in the next nineteen days

Fidál (Grace), 1 Jamál (Beauty), 166 BE – Tuesday, April 28, 2009 about 10:22 AM Pacific Time

A new nineteen-day period of achievement began last night at sunset. We attended the Feast of Beauty last night. We arrived safely at the location of the Feast and returned home safely. In this nineteen days, Mom has out patient surgery to open a tear duct on Thursday, April 30 and I have a dental appointment on Thursday, May 7.

In addition, I have to determine whether the dryer is fixable or I have to get a new dryer. In the mean time, I have to go to Home Depot and see if I can get a cloths line of some type. Perhaps I'll just stick with the cloths line for a while, at least this summer. I like drying cloths outside in the spring, summer and autumn, but winter is a different story. In winter, the neighbors use wood burning fireplaces and the scent of the smoke gets into the cloths.

I think there is a Home Depot on Lamb, which isn't very far from where I live. So I'll go there and see what they have as far as cloths lines are concerned. If I don't get a cloths line then I have to either get the dryer fixed or take the cloths to the launder mat to dry them. Going to the launder mat is a hassle and a dryer is expensive, besides if I dry cloths on a line outside it saves electricity.

There are probably other things I have to do in the next nineteen days, but I haven't decided on what they are yet. Mother's Day is May 10, I have a gift card for Chili's so perhaps Mom and I will go there for desert. I like there sandwiches as well. However, if we order sandwiches then Mom can't eat desert, which is made of ice cream.
