Triple digit temperatures are coming

Triple digit temperatures are predicted for Sunday, May 18. These will be the first triple digits of the year. I am and am not looking forward to them. As a writer triple digit temperatures can create some very interesting ideas. However, it also means I am going to have to turn the central air unit on. When the central air goes on then the power bill goes up.
This year not only will the power bill go up, but it will cost more to drive my car to the bank to get the money to pay the bill. Right now we do not have $4.00 per gallon regular unleaded gas. Memorial day week end is coming, I am guessing we will pay $4.00 per gallon by then, if not before. This year I may start paying the power bill on line rather then withdrawing the money and taking it to the Power Company.
