The Floor in My Garage

I have an older garage with a concrete floor, which is cracked and oil stained. A couple of places in floor is pitted and the concrete looks like it is disintegrating. The floor is ugly and needs work, a lot of work. It looks terrible. I am ashamed for people to see my garage floor, but I'm not sure what to do about it. It may be possible to cover it with tile. I need the advice of a professional, someone who knows more about concrete and garage floors than I know.
