Writing about Spring in Las Vegas

Joy in the morning
Laughter in the afternoon
Wind through stone pine limbs
Cool spring days foretell
Sweltering in summer heat
The New Year grows old
That is about all I have to group of spring Haikus. I am not sure how many more I will add to it. The original idea was to write about seven, on Haiku for each day of the week and title each section with a day. However, my muse chose a different topic today. The poem I wrote for today concerned doing housework at 1 AM. Tonight the wind is not blowing and I cannot come up with another Haiku. I will just let that group rest for a while and work on something else.
