National Author’s Day

In 1929, the General Federation of Women’s clubs, adopted November 1 as National Author’s Day. In 1949, the United States Department of Commerce placed it on its list of special day. This is a day to celebrate your favorite author. I you do not have a favorite author what better way to find one then to go to the library and read a book.
