Worrying and Writing
I worry too much. The only time I do not worry is when I am writing. When I sit down at the computer to compose a poem or write a story, I stop worrying. I stop worrying because I have something occupying my mind.
I worry. I fret. I obsess. Most of the things I worry about never happen. If they do happen, it is never as bad as I imagine. One of the reasons I write is to keep from worrying. It works because when I write there is no room in my mind to worry, fret, or obsess.
