Autumn is here at last

Autumn in Las Vegas is a bit different from autumn in Oklahoma or Main. The season is not as colorful as it is in other parts of the country. Trees that usually change colors are still green because we have not had the first freeze yet.

I know it is autumn because the temperature has dropped. I looked at the thermostat this morning and it read 65 degrees. I did not look at the thermostat last night, but I am sure it did not drop below 64 or 65 degrees. I turned the central air unit off because it is too cold for the cool are and not cold enough for the heat.
