October Memories an Acrostic poem

Oklahoma in autumn;
Cottonwood leaves waiting for the first freeze
To transform from shiny green to yellow,
Only a few weeks until Halloween and Trick or Treating,
But there were no completely store bought costumes for us
Each child could buy a mask while Mama or Grandma made the
Rest of the costume.
