A Rainy Morning

There is something spiritual about a rainy morning. You wake up, look out the window, and see water laying on the ground. Rain refreshes the world, in a similar way prayer refreshes the soul. Prayer waters the garden of the spirit just as rainwater nature's garden.
After a shower the city seems clean, the dust of the day before washed away. The sky looks bright even when there are clouds. After prayer, the human spirit is clean of previous worries and fears. The spirit is joyous, happy and can see beauty in the world around it. The city refreshed for the rest of the day after a morning rain just as the soul remains joyous after prayers.
