Monday is Veterans Day

Monday, November 12, is Veterans Day, which means almost all business offices and banks are going to close that day. The only the hotel-casinos, grocery stores and gas stations are going to be open in Las Vegas. This means I probably won't be going anyplace.

I can stay home blog and catch up on my writing projects or sleep. The sleep is probably out because while I'm writing I'll be doing laundry. Not that two people have a lot of laundry to do. Normally we do it everyday, but the past few days we haven't did any laundry. I have a load drying right now, but only because I needed some cloths washed before my dental screening this afternoon.

UNLV has a school of dentistry that is close to UMC. I can go to the dental school and have the work I need done cheaply. I hope they accept me because I need dental work bad. I also need to see a doctor and to get new glasses, but I'm going to take one thing at a time. Right now the teeth are the most important.
