Midweek reflections on a hospital waiting room in Las Vegas
A chilly morning
The parking lot half empty
Waiting room half full
I went to see a Wound Specialist today. I knew the hospital was not large, that is why I picked it when I made the appointment last week. It is difficult to walk with the “wound” on my left leg, so I did not want a large hospital that would require a long walk.
My appointment was at 10:30 AM. I arrived about 10:00 for the outpatient procedure. I left the hospital about 1:00 PM. I took a magazine with me to read after I finished the paperwork. I liked the waiting room because it was cozy, I know that is an odd description of a hospital waiting room, but that is how it felt.
