Write about high tide

Daily writing practice prompt for Monday, June 29, 2009 was “Write about high tide.”

I have never see a high tide in person. The only time I witness this phenomenon is during movies about the ocean. I visited the beach in San Diego a couple of times when my brother was in the Navy, but I never arrived at high tide. In fact, I never even thought to ask about the high tide when I was in San Diego.

I would like to see high tide in person. I want to do many things before I die, I need to go back to my "Things I want to do before I die" list and put see high tide on. I have to rework that list because there are things on it I no longer want to do.
