I Changed My Mind

Daily Writing Practice Prompt for April 13, 2008: Write about a time you changed your mind.

I changed my mind,
I looked at all the fact I knew,
those were very few
because I didn't know the entire story.

I changed my mind,
I followed my gut feeling
rather then the over cautious advice
of my selfish desires.

I changed my mind,
I accepted a new view of spirituality,
I new vision of divinity,
and was rewarded with new friends
who encouraged my soul's progress.
