Memorial Day 2013: Remembering

Remembering the sacrifices made,
Remembering the price of freedom paid,
Flags wave above their headstones,
As we remember them today.

We shed tears remembering the faces
Of those who made the sacrifice,
We lay flowers on their graves,
As we remember them today.
