Poetry Form: Limerick – A Poet Named Fred
There once was a poet named Fred,
Who wrote English sonnets in bed,
One nap at a time,
He dreamed up each rhyme,
Then wrote down two lines on his head.
A limerick is a 5-line poem with a rhyme scheme
of AABBA.
