Kyrielle Poetry Form

To write Kyrielles you use couples, which are two-line stanzas, or quatrains, have four-line stanzas. The minimum numbers of stanzas are three for quatrains and six for couplets, with no maximum number of stanzas.

Kyrielle stanzas consist of eight syllables lines, with refrain (repeated line) at the end of each stanza. The rhyme scheme is a-a-b-refrain (b), c-c-b-refrain (b), and d-d-b-refrain (b) or a-b-a-refrain (b), c-b-c-refrain (b) and c-b-c-refrain (b).

I am working this poetry form on this week. I received this assignment on Sunday, September 11, and the deadline is Saturday, September 17. It has taken me four days to find a subject; however, I will finish it tonight and post it in my writing.com port on Friday.
