It rained last night,
angels transported drops to earth,
raindrops, sounding like sizzling bacon,
intoned their gratitude to God
as they struck the earth.

Raindrops sparkled
the street lights
as they watered the desert plants
and cause the black asphalt of Las Vegas streets
to glisten with joy.
