It is monsoon season in Las Vegas, with triple digit temperatures and high humidity. July and August brings the heat and the rain. Thunderstorms and flash flood warnings telling people to turn around and not drive through flooded areas. I do not know how well people listen to those warning because every year someone has to be rescued because a car or truck stalls on a flooded street.
