My Cell Phone: A Poem
I left my cell phone in the car
when I returned home last night,
wearily I prepared for bed,
looking forward to a few hours rest
until I started looking for my cell phone.
I couldn't find it anywhere,
it wasn't in my purse
or on the nightstand,
but then I remember
I placed it on the front passenger seat.
I sighed,
I found the flashlight,
and then I retrieved my phone;
perhaps I should use an alarm clock
instead of my cell phone alarm.
when I returned home last night,
wearily I prepared for bed,
looking forward to a few hours rest
until I started looking for my cell phone.
I couldn't find it anywhere,
it wasn't in my purse
or on the nightstand,
but then I remember
I placed it on the front passenger seat.
I sighed,
I found the flashlight,
and then I retrieved my phone;
perhaps I should use an alarm clock
instead of my cell phone alarm.
